Two Years as a Mom - Now, a Fresh Start
Two years ago, I stepped into the wild, beautiful world of motherhood - while still trying to run a small handmade jewelry brand. I remember asking myself:
“Can I really do both?”
“Will I still be able to create?”
“Would my small handmade brand survive this new season of life?”
But now I see: every messy, beautiful step of parenting and creating has shaped us into versions of ourselves we never expected: stronger, bolder, more resilient. While my days were filled with baby giggles and diaper changes, my creative spirit never left – it simply evolved.
Now, with my little one happily settled in daycare (thanks for Finland's wonderful childcare system! ), I'm returning to my studio with fresh energy and vision - reconnecting with my craft, and reimagining Upcycle with Jing with more purpose than ever.

A Whole New Brand - Art by Jing
During the quiet moments of motherhood - between naptimes and bedtime stories - I rediscovered my long-lost love: watercolors. Though entrepreneurship had kept me away from the brush for years, this season of life unexpectedly brought me back to painting. I’m starting to turn my paintings into stickers, postcards, and fabric - just small things to add a touch of calm and poetry to everyday life.

Upcycle with Jing wouldn’t be what it is without the incredible hands behind the scenes — our jewelry production team is made up of stay-at-home moms.
Since becoming a mother myself, I’ve come to understand just how much love, patience, and strength they bring to every piece. I’m endlessly grateful that they choose to share their talent with this little brand of ours.
