Meet Jing

Hi, I’m Jing, a Chinese designer, artist, and entrepreneur based in Finland.

I came to Finland in 2012 to study at Aalto University. What began as a student journey gradually became a life, a family, and two creative brands.

My entrepreneurial journey started at a university Christmas Market, where I experimented with turning discarded plastic bottles into flower-inspired jewelry. To my surprise, people loved them.

That small experiment eventually became Upcycle with Jing.

Today, I continue to create jewelry that transforms waste into beauty, while also running Art by Jing, a watercolor-inspired stationery brand.

Whether I’m working with recycled plastic or watercolor paint, my goal remains the same: to help people see beauty in unexpected places.
